Cussedness Theme
Cussedness Theme Version 1.0.1 is the current version of the Wordpress theme I coded myself for use on this website. Download and install it and you too could have an almost psychotically plain-looking blog. Here is a list of the fantastic features offered by this small collection of PHP, HTML and CSS:
- Minimalist, lightweight theme.
- Valid XHTML 1.0 and CSS 2.1, the bits I have control over anyway.
- Liquid two column layout.
- Widget support for easy sidebar customisation.
- Gravatars in comments.
- Clever-clever copyright line in the footer.
- Tags, tag cloud, drop-down categories and archives, calendar styles, etc.
- Smart previous/next link function so you don’t need to faff about with the hopelessly confused Wordpress template functions.
- All the usual standard stuff you’d expect from a basic Wordpress 2.5+ theme, I think.
- Tested and guaranteed to work okay in Internet Explorer 5.5, 6 and 7, Firefox 2 and 3, Safari 3 and Opera 9, so most normal people will be kept happy, and quite a few weirdos too.
- Would probably make a good base for building fancier themes from, ones with colours and images and other suchlike unnecessary frippery.
